ERGONOMICS IS AN EXACT SCIENCE THAT INDICATES RULES AND SOLUTIONS FOR THE MOST PRECISE INTERPRETATION AND USE OF WHAT SURROUNDS US BY STUDYING OUR BEHAVIOUR. IT IS THEREFORE ESSENTIAL TO ASSESS CORRECTLY DISTANCES, HEIGHTS, VISUAL FIELDS AND THE USE OF DIFFERENT OBJECTS IN RELATION TO THEIR FUNCTIONS.
COMFORT AREA.
It is an ideal area at a height of between 80 and 160 cm where you can carry out most of your activities and place most of your appliances.
WORKTOP.
The most correct height is between 85 and 91cm. Differential heights for the same top are to be avoided in order to prevent accidents or falling objects. The depth can vary between 60 and 90 cm.
DINING TABLE.
Its optimal height goes from 70 to 75 cm. Snack top: it is between 110 and 120 cm with the presence of two stools.
MINIMUM DIMENSIONS.
There must be at least 80cm in front of the fridge and at least 85cm in front of the cooker hob. You need up to 90 cm in front of the sink area.
OVEN.
Conventional, microwave or steam cooking - there's no difference: choose the solution that better interprets your needs and place them at a height of between 90 and 120 cm. In so doing, you will be able to check what goes on without having to bend over.
DISHWASHER.
If possible, avoid placing it on the floor but choose a height of between 16 and 60 cm. It will be easier to load and unload without bending over.
LIGHT.
We can spot at least three different lighting levels. Decorative to light up your emotions, diffuse for an homogenous effect and directional using spot lights to avoid being in the shade or under glare.
POWER SUPPLY SOCKETS.
Whether they are concealed or in sight, they are all certified and supplied in the correct amount so as to be able to use as many appliances as possible at the same time.
SAFETY.
Choose round corners, rear cooker hobs so that children cannot reach them, safe storage units for detergents and chemicals, hinged doors capable of bearing the weight of a child, drawers with runners provided with the soft closing system.
